As we can see, there has been a lot of changes done to the Arcane Insurrection portion of the website here! Here are the recent updates to AI:

Chapter one appearances added to the character sections.
Alai, Brennus, Hanz, and Masked Assassin have their profiles up.
Chapter two: Brainstorm phase.
Chapter one: Scripting & paneling phase.

Note: I will be adding characters into the lists as each chapter progresses.

Duo of Doom

Been quite a while since I’ve uploaded something here. I try to keep my creative juices flowing while I am frying my brain in my Java programming class. Next up: Networking Fundamentals.

Anyway, today we have Brennus and his faithful furry pal Oki. Unanimous vote among the team members has made Brennus the main protagonist of Arcane Insurrection, which is still under heavy production. We got more characters on the way, which will slowly show their faces here!

Also, to my DeviantArt watchers, I have changed my username from Miyoko2006 to Executor-Haruko.

Arcane Insurrection Kickoff

With March starting, Kenzie and I have decided we needed to get the ball rolling with Arcane Insurrection. We also have an additional artist to the team, whom will be revealed in due time, to assist with character design and such. I’ve also made some site updates: Current Projects now has Arcane Insurrection’s logo and the link to Arcane Insurrection now redirects you to the new update blog I put together for it. It should show you the bios of some of the characters that I’ve completed a while back. There’s more to come as Kenzie created our Tumblr page and I’ve kicked off our Facebook page, both are linked below!

Ink Doodles!

So, as of recent, I’ve been doodling at my full time job during my breaks. This one to the left displayed is actually one I did at my uncle’s shop during a rainy day. Every one of those doodles have been done with a ballpoint pen and quite honestly I’ve been quite proud of them. I don’t have time to upload every single one of them, so I provided a link to my deviant art gallery section to these doodles. This is updated practically daily.

Anywho, to our left we have Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, my favorite anime character of all time. I doodled this at my uncle’s car repair shop with my aunt as a witness to this. I let her keep the piece, so a decent scanned image is not going to be available.

And with this comes an update on the life of everyone’s favorite artist. Many things changed since last year, but we’re still kicking. It’s hard being a college student, starving artist, and a webmistress! Though with these hard times also comes some bad news for my fans: I will not be attending Animazement this year due to monetary complications. But, this means that I will have plenty of time to prepare cute little trinkets for you guys! Classes have been consuming my time, so I haven’t had any real finished pieces to upload other than the book covers I’ve been doing for Extasy Books and Devine Destinies. They’re a fun crew to work with, but I do much prefer drawing my anime men~
Also, due to the many people who expect a commission from me for free I’ve changed a few rules in my commission rulebook: “All commissions will require a 50% deposit due to the rising number of commission “scammers.” What I just deemed a commission scammer is a person that commissions you, gets their product, and fails to pay you accordingly. You will be blacklisted and refused further commissions if you fail to pay me accordingly. If you “commission” me and fail to provide the deposit, I will simply ignore your request until the payment is received.” I hate to resort to such measures because I love my art fans, but sometimes you have to do what you have to.
